Minimum wage hike: $11.5 million price tag for Arizona school districts who are left to foot the bill| 

It’s great to advocate for increased wages in education, but there is one major pitfall. There isn’t any additional revenue being allocated so the schools are then left to pull money to meet the increase out of other districts funds necessary for student instruction.

The minimum wage will increase incrementally to $12 by 2020, creating additional costs each of the next few years.
